To ensure secure and controlled access to our mobile application, we use the device's unique IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number for identification purposes. This approach helps us enforce a policy that allows only a single device login per student account at a time.
When a student logs into the mobile application, the app collects and securely stores the IMEI number of the device being used. This identifier is then associated with the student's account to:
- Prevent unauthorized access from multiple devices simultaneously.
- Enhance account security and reduce the risk of misuse or account sharing.
- Support school policies regarding secure student access and usage monitoring.
The IMEI number is treated as sensitive information and is stored securely in accordance with our data protection practices. It is not shared with any third party and is only used internally to manage and secure user access within the platform.
